Soups are perhaps the ultimate comfort food.A soup pot conjures up the image of sharing food - not often do we cook a soup for one! Our soups are prepared daily from fresh produce with no MSG, flour or thickeners, everyday, right here at La Zuppa!

Eating in means getting your soup in a huge, heavy bowl topped with the options of finely grated parmesan and cracked black pepper, and served with soft focaccia bread. We have a wide selection of vegetarian & non-vegetarian soups to choose from. Our selection varies from day to day, there’s bound to be one that suits your taste, so come on in and try a bowl!

Our Food

Quality is our priority because food must nourish your body as well as your soul. La Zuppa offers healthy, additive-free food, nutritionally well-balanced and so good you’ll keep coming back. Sandwiches freshly made for you on soft Italian Foccacia with top quality imported cheeses and prepared meat. Salads - a rainbow of colours with a good combination of all-important vitamins and antioxidants.
We also serve up a dose of banter, commentary and fun to accompany your food!

Beer Wine & Fine Liqueurs

The restaurant has a liquor licence, so you can eenjoy your favourite drink along with your food, so do the Mediterranean thing and add your daily dose of antioxidants and relaxation.

Philosopher's Café

We actively participate in Simon Fraser University’s Continuing Education Philosophers’ Café project. At La Zuppa we provide comfortable surroundings for vibrant street level discussions on burning issues of the day. We strive to keep this truly a street-level discussion with life experience as the only requirement.
